これを見てわかるように、マリは強引にアスカのコアのままエヴァ2号機に搭乗したわけではなかったのです。

余談ですが、そもそも『ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版』ではTV放映版と違い、「コアの書き換え」というものはなく、「コアユニットの換装」によってパイロットに合わせたエヴァにします。
